I was serious in my previous post, I am ready for a mid-day nap. Considering I was wide awake at 2am, again at 4am and out of bed to start the day at 6am, I think I need a little shut eye. However, the sugar junkie that is boarding in my belly had other ideas. It wasn't until I laid my head on my pillow that the baby whispered to me "mommy, I really need a snack. I bet the bakery down the street still has some of that marionberry cobbler...and snickerdoodle cookies." I responded to his heeding, "its nap time little boy, and we can have a glass of lemonade when we wake up." His curt response was something about the anti-oxidants in the marionberries being good for his brain development and the snickerdoodle is just a fun word to practice saying in his vocabulary infancy.
So here we are, about 600 calories heavier, attempting the mid-day nap once again. First I should drink a glass of milk, as I know the babe will be sending me a craving for that. Funny how he doesn't seem to call out requests for the fish oil supplements I am taking...
